Every account in one place
Keep evaluation and funded MT5 accounts side by side, each with its own journal and analytics.
Prop trading
Prop trading adds rules to the job: a profit target, a maximum drawdown, and often a consistency requirement. Action Journal does not replace your firm dashboard, but it does show you the habits that put those rules at risk.
Keep evaluation and funded MT5 accounts side by side, each with its own journal and analytics.
See maximum drawdown from your own trade history, next to win rate and profit factor.
Notes, emotion and ratings reveal the decisions that precede a rule breach.
A prop firm dashboard tells you whether you are passing. It rarely tells you why a good week turned into a bad one. The trades are visible, but the sequence of decisions is not: the size increase after a loss, the extra trade late in the session, the setup you took because you were behind target.
A journal makes that sequence reviewable. Over a 30-day evaluation, the pattern is usually more useful than any single trade.
Connect each MT5 account the same way: broker, server, account number and investor password. Basic includes three accounts and Plus includes ten, so an evaluation, a funded account and a personal account can sit side by side without mixing their results.
Action Journal is a journal and analytics tool. It does not enforce your firm rules, calculate your firm-specific target, place or close trades, or replace the dashboard your prop firm provides. Always check your firm rules and your own account before making a decision.
Any prop firm account that runs on MetaTrader 5 can be connected with its investor password, provided the firm allows read-only access. Action Journal is independent and is not affiliated with any prop firm.
